Mouse Iduronate 2-sulfatase (Ids) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, designed for the precise measurement of iduronate 2-sulfatase (IDS) levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit reacts with mouse samples and is supplied for research use only.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit offers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.085ng/mL. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse iduronate 2-sulfatase. IDS is a lysosomal enzyme required for the lysosomal degradation of heparan sulfate and dermatan sulfate; defects in the enzyme are the cause of mucopolysaccharidosis type 2 (MPS2), also known as Hunter syndrome.

Storage conditions vary by component: most kit components are stored at -20°C, while the wash buffer, substrate and stop solution are stored at 4°C.
