Mouse IDUA/alpha-L-iduronidase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie configured in a double-antibody format with colorimetric readout, intended for quantitative detection of mouse alpha-L-iduronidase. Alpha-L-iduronidase (UniProt P48441) hydrolyses the terminal alpha-L-iduronic acid residues of the glycosaminoglycans heparan sulfate and dermatan sulfate, and its deficiency underlies the lysosomal storage disorder mucopolysaccharidosis type I (MPS I), making the assay a useful research tool in studies of these conditions and potential therapies.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported linearity for serum is 86–104%, 82–101% and 80–96% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma 89–105%, 93–101% and 85–96%; heparin plasma 86–105%, 88–97% and 87–98%. Mean recovery is 94% in serum, 95% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma.
