Mouse ICOS ligand (Icoslg) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse ICOS ligand (Icoslg) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for mouse samples. The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse ICOS ligand using colorimetric detection.

Performance specifications cite a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.095 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 8.2% and inter-assay CV of 9.9%. Reported linearity at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5) is 86–96%, 96–106%, 105–115% and 108–118% for serum; 102–112%, 97–109%, 101–111% and 106–115% for EDTA plasma; and 109–120%, 101–111%, 105–114% and 108–108% for heparin plasma. Recovery averages 94% for serum (range 88–100%) and 96% for plasma (range 90–102%).

ICOS ligand (Icoslg, UniProt Q9JHJ8) is a single-pass type I membrane protein with a molecular weight of 38,914 Da. It acts as a costimulatory signal for T-cell proliferation and cytokine secretion, induces B-cell proliferation and differentiation into plasma cells, and has been implicated in local inflammatory responses and in skewing maternal T-cell cytokine profiles toward an immunoprotective Th2 phenotype during pregnancy.
