Mouse Hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (Hif1a) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (Hif1a) in mouse samples. The kit is reactive with mouse and detects the target in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse HIF-1α (synonyms: ARNT-interacting protein, HIF-1-alpha).

HIF-1α functions as a master transcriptional regulator of the adaptive response to hypoxia, activating the transcription of over 40 genes whose products are involved in angiogenesis, energy metabolism and cell survival. Dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, ischemic diseases and inflammatory disorders. Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL, sensitivity of 39.8pg/mL, intra-assay CV of 7.1% and inter-assay CV of 9.1%. Reported linearity values span 83-118% in serum (N=5), 95-117% in EDTA plasma (N=5) and 81-115% in heparin plasma (N=5) across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery averaged 98% in serum (range 92-104%) and 100% in plasma (range 94-106%).
