Mouse Hyaluronidase ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Mouse Hyaluronidase (also known as HAase) using a double-antibody detection format. The microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target protein. Standards and appropriately diluted samples are added, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody that recognises a different epitope of the target, forming a sandwich complex. HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and a TMB substrate then generate a colorimetric signal, which is stopped with an acidic solution and read at 450 nm.

Validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, the kit reports a sensitivity of 2.344 ng/mL and a measuring range of 3.906–250 ng/mL. Linearity (n = 5) across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions covers 92–105% / 91–99% / 87–105% for serum, 82–99% / 88–101% / 82–99% for EDTA plasma, and 83–98% / 82–100% / 81–100% for heparin plasma. Average recovery is 99% for serum, 98% for EDTA plasma and 98% for heparin plasma. The associated Uniprot reference is Q91ZJ9.

Standard sample preparation includes allowing blood to clot and centrifuging serum at 1000 × g for 20 minutes, collecting plasma using anticoagulant tubes and centrifuging at 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2–8°C, and clarifying cell culture supernatant at 2500 rpm for 5 minutes. Storage is specified at 2–8°C for 12 months.
