Mouse Hyaluronidase-4 (Hyal4) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Hyaluronidase-4 (HYAL4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only. HYAL4 is described as an endo-hyaluronidase that degrades hyaluronan to smaller oligosaccharide fragments and also exhibits chondroitin sulfate hydrolase activity, with the best substrate being the galactosaminidic linkage in a trisulfated tetrasaccharide.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.075 ng/mL. Both intra-assay and inter-assay CV are listed at 0.0%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (N=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum values ranging from 95–115%, EDTA plasma from 91–119%, and heparin plasma from 97–121% across the dilutions tested. Recovery is reported at an average of 80% (range 80–80%) for both serum and plasma.
