Mouse Hyaluronidase-2 (Hyal2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for the sensitive detection of Mouse Hyaluronidase-2 (Hyal2) levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and shows reactivity with mouse samples. It is suited to research applications in signal transduction and to studies of extracellular matrix biology, where dysregulation of HYAL2 has been implicated in cancer, inflammation and tissue remodeling.

Hyaluronidase-2 (HYAL2) hydrolyzes high molecular weight hyaluronic acid to produce an intermediate-sized product which is further hydrolyzed by sperm hyaluronidase to give small oligosaccharides; the enzyme displays very low levels of activity. The protein associates with and negatively regulates MST1R, and is anchored to the cell membrane via a GPI-lipid anchor (UniProt O35632).

The assay is configured as a Sandwich ELISA with a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.165ng/mL. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse Hyaluronidase-2. For research use only.
