Mouse HTT/Huntingtin ELISA Kit

A quantitative sandwich ELISA designed for the measurement of huntingtin levels in mouse samples. The kit from Assay Genie is intended for research into neurodegenerative disorders such as Huntington's disease, where abnormal expansion of the huntingtin gene leads to protein aggregation and neuronal dysfunction.

It uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. The assay is reactive with mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Stated sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL and the measuring range is 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validation includes linearity in serum (87-100%, 86-105% and 85-104% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (83-101%, 83-98% and 83-99%) and heparin plasma (81-93%, 85-91% and 86-92%). Recovery ranges are 88-105% (average 94%) in serum, 88-102% (average 94%) in EDTA plasma, and 85-104% (average 96%) in heparin plasma.
