Mouse HSF1/Heat Shock Factor 1 ELISA Kit

HSF1 (Heat Shock Factor 1) is a key regulator of the heat shock response, playing a critical role in cellular stress response pathways, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic disorders. This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantification of HSF1 protein levels in mouse samples using a colorimetric detection method.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 95–104%, 89–102% and 86–105% for serum (n=5); 82–99%, 83–99% and 87–98% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 82–99%, 88–100% and 83–99% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery averaged 95% for serum (range 85–104%), 99% for EDTA plasma (range 87–104%) and 93% for heparin plasma (range 86–98%).

The protocol includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding step, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
