Mouse Hornerin (Hrnr) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Hornerin (HRNR) in mouse samples, supplied by Assay Genie. The assay is reactive with mouse and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, with a working detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.091 ng/mL.

Hornerin is a calcium- and metal-ion-binding protein of the S100-fused protein family, found in keratohyalin granules within the epidermis and described as a component of the epidermal cornified cell envelopes. The Mouse Hornerin (Hrnr) ELISA Kit is intended for research investigating Hornerin in processes such as skin barrier function, keratinization, and immune response regulation, where dysregulation of the protein has been associated with skin disorders and inflammatory conditions. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Hornerin, and intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity and recovery data are provided with each kit. For research use only.
