Mouse Hormone-sensitive lipase ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides this Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of hormone-sensitive lipase levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Hormone-sensitive lipase plays a critical role in lipid metabolism, regulating the breakdown of stored fats to mobilize energy for the body, and its dysregulation has been linked to metabolic disorders such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. The kit uses a double antibody Sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection, and absorbance is read at 450 nm.

The assay has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n = 5) spans 85–105% at 1:2, 85–103% at 1:4, and 93–105% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n = 5) gives 90–99%, 82–94%, and 85–95%; and heparin plasma (n = 5) gives 80–100%, 80–99%, and 81–100% across the same dilutions. Spike-and-recovery performance shows serum (n = 5) at 94–102% (average 98%), EDTA plasma (n = 5) at 93–103% (average 99%), and heparin plasma (n = 5) at 89–104% (average 99%). The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, and the Uniprot reference for the target is P54310 (synonyms: Lipe, HSL).
