Nanog is a DNA-binding homeobox transcription factor involved in embryonic stem cell proliferation, renewal, and pluripotency. It acts as a transcriptional regulator of inner cell mass and ES cell self-renewal, imposing pluripotency and preventing differentiation towards extraembryonic endoderm and trophectoderm lineages. The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse Homeobox protein NANOG with a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 18pg/mL. Both intra-assay and inter-assay CV are reported as 0.0%.

Manufacturer linearity data report serum (N=5) recovery of 91-103% at 1:2 down to 83-96% at 1:16 dilution, EDTA plasma (N=5) of 92-100% to 85-97%, and heparin plasma (N=5) of 106-115% to 88-98% across the same dilution range. Average recovery is 80% for both serum and plasma.
