The Mouse HNF1b (Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 1 Beta) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie supports quantitative measurement of a homeodomain transcription factor required for embryonic organogenesis of the kidney, liver, pancreas, and genital tract. Researchers apply this assay to investigate HNF1b-related disorders such as maturity-onset diabetes of the young type 5 (MODY5), renal cysts and diabetes syndrome, and congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract.

Reagents are supplied for use with liquid matrices from mouse, including clarified tissue homogenates from kidney, liver, or pancreas, as well as blood-derived fractions. Unopened components should be refrigerated; reconstituted standards and concentrated detection antibody benefit from aliquoting to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
