Mouse Histone Deacetylase/HDAC ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, a Sandwich ELISA Kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse HD1 (HDAC) concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The kit targets HDAC1, a transcriptional regulator of the histone deacetylase family, subfamily 1, which deacetylates lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones H2A, H2B, H3 and H4 and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188ng/ml and a measurement range of 0.313-20ng/ml. Intra-assay precision is CV <8% and inter-assay precision is CV <10%. In spiked recovery testing, serum (n=5) gave a range of 85-103% with an average of 96%, EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 85-105% with an average of 95%, and UFH plasma (n=5) gave 86-102% with an average of 95%. Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions of the same matrices. The associated UniProt entry is O09106.

Reactivity is specific to mouse samples, and the kit is intended for research use only. It is suitable for measuring HDAC in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants, and should be stored at 4°C for 6 months.
