Mouse Histone deacetylase 1 (Hdac1) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate quantification of Histone deacetylase 1 (HDAC1) levels in mouse samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and the kit detects natural and recombinant mouse HDAC1 (synonym: HD1; UniProt O09106). The assay has a reported detection range of 15.6-1000 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 7.8 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 6.4% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.2% CV. Linearity has been evaluated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum (107-117%, 83-95%, 108-117%, 110-119%), EDTA plasma (103-115%, 116-126%, 84-92%, 104-114%) and heparin plasma (99-109%, 102-111%, 98-106%, 100-112%). Spike-recovery averages are 101% (range 95-107%) for serum and 103% (range 97-109%) for plasma.

HDAC1 catalyses deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4), providing a tag for epigenetic repression and contributing to transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. The kit is supplied for storage at -20°C and ships at +4°C.
