Mouse High mobility group protein B4 (Hmgb4) ELISA Kit

For research use only. This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed to quantitatively measure High mobility group protein B4 (Hmgb4) in mouse-derived samples. The kit accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detects both natural and recombinant mouse HMGB4. The analyte is localized in the nucleus and chromosome, consistent with HMGB4's membership in the HMGB family and its roles in DNA repair and gene transcription regulation (UniProt: Q6P8W9; reported molecular weight 21,604 Da).

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40 pg/mL, with intra-assay CV of 8.3% and inter-assay CV of 9.7%. Linearity was verified across serial 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum (87-97%, 91-100%, 91-100%, 81-91%), EDTA plasma (103-116%, 81-91%, 91-101%, 95-104%) and heparin plasma (97-105%, 83-93%, 102-112%, 105-115%). Recovery averaged 102% (range 96-108%) in serum and 104% (range 98-110%) in plasma. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader.

Because HMGB4 is implicated in inflammation, immune response and cancer progression, the assay offers a reliable tool for mouse-model research in immunology, oncology and molecular biology, supporting studies of the protein's physiological functions and its involvement in disease processes.
