Mouse High affinity copper uptake protein 1 (Slc31a1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of mouse High affinity copper uptake protein 1 (Slc31a1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse Slc31a1, also known as Copper transporter 1, CTR1, or Solute carrier family 31 member 1, a high-affinity, saturable copper transporter involved in dietary copper uptake. The protein functions as a homotrimer and localises to the cell membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein, with apical membrane localisation in intestinal epithelial cells, and is relevant to research in signal transduction.

The kit uses a colorimetric detection method with a reported detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.17ng/mL. Data for intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity and recovery are provided with the kit. Reagents include an ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures detailed in the kit.
