Mouse HHIP ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of Hedgehog-interacting protein (HHIP) in mouse samples. The double-antibody, colorimetric assay is suitable for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Recovery values across spiked samples are 88–105% (average 94%) for serum, 87–102% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 87–103% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 85–105%, 83–95% and 81–97% for serum; 86–105%, 87–96% and 85–95% for EDTA plasma; and 85–97%, 87–100% and 82–98% for heparin plasma. Unopened kits are stored at 2–8°C with a 12-month shelf life.

HHIP is a critical regulator of the Hedgehog signaling pathway, which plays a role in development, tissue regeneration, and tumorigenesis. Dysregulation of this pathway has been linked to cancer and developmental disorders, supporting the use of HHIP as a biomarker for research into these conditions and for exploring potential therapeutic interventions.
