Mouse Hexokinase 1 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of mouse hexokinase 1, an enzyme that catalyses the first step of glycolysis and is relevant to research on glucose metabolism and metabolic disorders such as diabetes. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance characteristics reported by Assay Genie include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) spans 87-96%, 94-102% and 86-98% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions respectively; EDTA plasma (n=5) spans 90-103%, 87-92% and 88-91%; and heparin plasma (n=5) spans 85-98%, 83-100% and 82-100%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 92% for serum (range 87-104%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 86-103%) and 93% for heparin plasma (range 86-105%). The protocol is a sandwich double-antibody format with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development, and the kit is intended to be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
