Mouse Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K (Hnrnpk) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K (hnRNP K) in mouse samples. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse hnRNP K and is intended for research use only, supporting studies within the epigenetics research area.

hnRNP K is a major pre-mRNA-binding protein that binds tenaciously to poly(C) sequences and plays a role in the nuclear metabolism of hnRNAs, particularly for pre-mRNAs containing cytidine-rich sequences. The protein also participates in the p53/TP53 response to DNA damage, acting at the level of both transcription activation and repression. Reported subcellular localisations include the cytoplasm, nucleus, nucleoplasm, cell projections, and podosomes.

The assay has a detection range of 78-5000pg/ml with a sensitivity of 40pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 8.4% and inter-assay CV is 10.5%. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, with reported recovery of 101% (95-107%) for serum and 103% (97-109%) for plasma.
