Mouse Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein F (Hnrnpf) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein F (hnRNP F) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit supports research into hnRNP F, an RNA-binding protein that acts within the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein complexes that provide the substrate for the processing events pre-mRNAs undergo before becoming functional, translatable mRNAs, with a role in regulating alternative splicing by binding G-rich sequences and keeping target RNA in an unfolded state.

The assay has a reported detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 39.7 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 6.1% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.6% CV. Linearity has been verified in serum (103–113%, 100–100%, 87–96%, 98–107% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, N=5), EDTA plasma (100–110%, 92–101%, 112–121%, 93–104%) and heparin plasma (97–107%, 100–110%, 81–92%, 101–111%). Mean recovery is 94% (range 88–100%) in serum and 96% (range 90–102%) in plasma. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse hnRNP F (UniProt Q9Z2X1), the target has a reported molecular weight of 43,685 Da, and hnRNP F is localised to the nucleus/nucleoplasm.
