Mouse Hepatocyte nuclear factor 1-alpha (Hnf1a) ELISA Kit

Hepatocyte nuclear factor 1-alpha (Hnf1a) is a POU-homeodomain transcription factor governing tissue-specific gene expression in hepatocytes, pancreatic beta-cells, and intestinal epithelium. Loss-of-function mutations in HNF1A are a well-characterized cause of MODY3, a monogenic form of early-onset diabetes, while reduced Hnf1a activity also contributes to hepatic steatosis and altered glucose output in metabolic disease models.

This Assay Genie ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse Hnf1a protein in serum fractions and EDTA-plasma specimens from laboratory mouse strains. The two-antibody immunoassay uses an absorbance-based readout compatible with standard microplate readers and includes a break-apart strip plate pre-coated with capture antibody, together with biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, recombinant standards, and wash buffer sufficient for 96 individual assays.
