Mouse Hepatocellular carcinoma-associated protein TD26 homolog (Gm6484) ELISA Kit

The assay is validated for mouse reactivity in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity defined for natural and recombinant mouse Betatrophin.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.081ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%. Reported recovery is 100% (94-106%) for serum and 102% (96-108%) for plasma. The target protein is described as a hormone that specifically promotes pancreatic beta cell proliferation and beta cell mass expansion, thereby improving glucose tolerance, and acts as a blood lipid regulator by regulating serum triglyceride levels, possibly by promoting ANGPTL3 cleavage; it interacts with ANGPTL3.
