Mouse Heparin cofactor 2 (Serpind1) ELISA Kit

Using a colorimetric sandwich ELISA format reactive with mouse samples, the assay covers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.172ng/mL. Specificity is reported for both natural and recombinant mouse Heparin cofactor 2 (UniProt: P49182), supporting reproducible measurement across experimental conditions.

The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Heparin cofactor 2 functions as a thrombin inhibitor activated by the glycosaminoglycans heparin or dermatan sulfate; in the presence of the latter it becomes the predominant thrombin inhibitor in place of antithrombin III (AT).
