Mouse Hematopoietic prostaglandin D synthase (Hpgds) ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for quantitative measurement of mouse Hematopoietic prostaglandin D synthase (HPGDS) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse HPGDS and is for research use only.

HPGDS is a homodimer localised to the cytoplasm with a molecular weight of 23,227 Da. It functions as a bifunctional enzyme catalysing conversion of PGH2 to PGD2 and conjugation of glutathione with aryl halides and organic isothiocyanates, with low glutathione-peroxidase activity. The associated UniProt entry is Q9JHF7 and NCBI Gene ID is 54486.

Detection range is 0.625-40ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.324ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.3% and inter-assay CV is 8.1%. Serum recovery is 101% (range 95-107%) and plasma recovery is 103% (range 97-109%). Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions.
