Mouse HAS2 (Hyaluronan synthase 2) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Hyaluronan Synthase 2 (HAS2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. HAS2 is a key enzyme in the synthesis of hyaluronan, a major component of the extracellular matrix that plays a role in tissue development, inflammation, and wound healing, and aberrant expression has been linked to diseases such as cancer, arthritis, and fibrosis.

Linearity for serum (n=5) spans 89–105% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, EDTA plasma (n=5) spans 84–105%, and heparin plasma (n=5) spans 82–101%. Recovery averages 92% for serum, 97% for EDTA plasma, and 92% for heparin plasma. Detection uses a biotin-labelled antibody with HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with the lyophilized standard also suitable for 12 months at -20°C.
