Description

Designed by Assay Genie for research applications, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative detection of mouse H-2 class II histocompatibility antigen, A-B alpha chain (H2-Aa) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody format is suited to studies in immunology, oncology, and transplantation biology, where the target is a relevant biomarker of immune regulation.

Sensitivity is reported as 0.375 ng/mL with a working range of 0.625-40 ng/mL. Linearity has been characterised across dilution factors: serum 90-105%, 89-104% and 85-103%; EDTA plasma 83-92%, 91-100% and 84-91%; heparin plasma 82-97%, 82-97% and 80-97% (at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 respectively, n=5). Recovery ranges are 88-102% (mean 92%) in serum, 93-103% (mean 98%) in EDTA plasma and 91-103% (mean 98%) in heparin plasma.

Unopened kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The protocol proceeds through reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm following stop solution addition.
