Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse H-2 class I histocompatibility antigen, TLA (B) alpha chain (H2-T3), also known as MHC thymus leukemia antigen. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, recognising both natural and recombinant forms of the target.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.176 ng/mL. Precision data show an intra-assay CV of 8.6% and an inter-assay CV of 10.3%. Linearity was evaluated across serum (106-115%, 90-102%, 96-108%, 91-100% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (93-101%, 104-113%, 109-119%, 94-106%) and heparin plasma (87-87%, 109-118%, 106-116%, 101-112%). Recovery averaged 103% in serum (range 97-109%) and 105% in plasma (range 99-111%).

The target protein (UniProt P14432; NCBI Gene ID 15043; official symbol H2-T3) is a single-pass type I membrane protein functioning as a heterodimer of an alpha chain and beta-2-microglobulin, with a reported molecular weight of 43,479 Da, and is involved in the presentation of foreign antigens to the immune system.
