Mouse GUSB/beta glucuronidase ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's mouse beta-glucuronidase (GUSB) sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of beta-glucuronidase in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format uses colorimetric detection, with a stated sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a working range of 7.813–500 pg/mL.

Beta-glucuronidase catalyses the hydrolysis of glucuronides and is involved in the metabolism of a variety of substances, including drugs and toxins. Dysregulation of its activity has been implicated in lysosomal storage disorders and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and exploring potential treatments.

The assay protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards and samples onto the pre-coated plate, incubating with biotin-labelled detection antibody followed by HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, developing colour with TMB substrate, and reading absorbance at 450 nm. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
