Mouse Guanine nucleotide exchange factor VAV3 (Vav3) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse Guanine nucleotide exchange factor VAV3 (synonym VAV-3) and is intended for research use only, in areas including cancer research. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and reports specificity for natural and recombinant mouse VAV3 (UniProt Q9R0C8).

Detection is by ELISA in a colorimetric Sandwich format, with validated sample types comprising serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is supplied with a microplate, lyophilized standard, diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate and stop solution.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.088 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 5.0% and inter-assay CV of 7.4%. Recovery averages 103% for serum (range 97-109%) and 105% for plasma (range 99-111%). Linearity has been characterised across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. VAV3 functions as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for RhoA, RhoG and, to a lesser extent, Rac1, with described roles in angiogenesis and wound healing.
