Mouse GSTA1/Glutathione S Transferase Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse GSTalpha1 (Glutathione S-Transferase Alpha 1) concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. GSTA1 is an important enzyme involved in detoxification processes, playing a key role in the metabolism of xenobiotics and the oxidative stress response. Dysregulation of GSTA1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, liver diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research into these conditions and for exploring potential therapeutic interventions.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 9.375pg/ml and a working range of 15.625-1000pg/ml. Intra-assay precision is CV <8% and inter-assay precision is CV <10%. Recovery was evaluated in spiked matrices: serum (n=5) ranged 86-98% with an average of 90%, EDTA plasma (n=5) ranged 89-99% with an average of 93%, and UFH plasma (n=5) ranged 96-104% with an average of 100%. Linearity assessed by serial dilution of spiked samples fell within expected percentage ranges for serum, EDTA plasma, and UFH plasma.
