GRO gamma (also known as CXCL3 or MIP-2β) is a CXC chemokine secreted primarily by macrophages, epithelial cells, and endothelial cells in response to inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1 and TNF-α. It functions as a potent neutrophil chemoattractant, directing neutrophils to sites of tissue injury, infection, and inflammation. Mouse GRO gamma is widely studied in models of acute lung injury, sepsis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and dermal wound healing, where elevated expression correlates with neutrophil infiltration and inflammatory cascade activation.

This Assay Genie kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse GRO gamma in multiple sample matrices. Each kit provides a pre-coated microplate, detection antibody, recombinant standard, and assay buffers sufficient for 96 determinations. Recommended sample volume is 50 uL per well, and reagents should be stored refrigerated at 4°C to maintain stability through the indicated shelf life. The capture antibody is mouse-specific with no significant cross-reactivity with rat CINC-1 or human CXCL1, making the assay applicable to inflammation, immunology, and chemokine signaling research in murine models.
