Mouse Gremlin-2 (Grem2) ELISA Kit

GREM2 is a secreted homodimeric cytokine that inhibits BMP2 and BMP4 in a dose-dependent manner, contributing to the regulation of embryonic morphogenesis. It interacts with BMP2, BMP4, and BMP7, with lower affinity for BMP7, and binds heparin, which impairs its interaction with BMP2. The protein belongs to the DAN family and has a reported molecular weight of 19,334 Da (UniProt O88273; NCBI Gene ID 23893). Synonyms include Cysteine knot superfamily 1, BMP antagonist 2, Protein related to DAN and cerberus, PRDC, Cktsf1b2, and Prdc.

The detection range is 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse Gremlin-2, and the kit is for research use only.
