Mouse GR alpha/Glucocorticoid Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the precise measurement of glucocorticoid receptor (GR) alpha levels in mouse samples. GR Alpha is a key regulator of the body's response to stress and inflammation and is involved in metabolism, immune function, and development, with dysregulation linked to metabolic, autoimmune, and psychiatric disorders.

Built on a double-antibody Sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection, the kit is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Unopened reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The procedure uses primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development for 10-20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Spiked recovery averages 95% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma and 91% in heparin plasma.
