Mouse GP4/CD36 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of CD36 (also known as GP4) in mouse samples. CD36 is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in lipid metabolism, inflammation, and angiogenesis, and has been linked to atherosclerosis, diabetes, and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for disease research.

It is a double-antibody sandwich immunoassay using colorimetric detection, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL and the assay range is 0.313-20 ng/mL.

The protocol includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody binding, 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes. Linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Reported recovery averages are 97% for serum and 92% for both EDTA and heparin plasma samples.
