Mouse Gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor (Gnrhr) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's ELISA Kit quantifies gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor (GNRHR), a receptor that mediates the action of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) via association with G-proteins and stimulates the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). The kit is offered with reactivity against Mouse and Porcine samples.

For Porcine samples, the assay delivers quantitative readout across a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.088 ng/mL, accepting serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The Mouse version is validated for serum and plasma samples using a colorimetric detection method. Specificity covers natural and recombinant target protein, and the product is intended for research use only.

The target protein (UniProt P49922; molecular weight 37,747 Da) is a multi-pass cell membrane protein also known as the luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone receptor (LHRH). The assay uses a removable microplate read at 450 nm, with supplied reagents including lyophilised standard, diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate and stop solution, stored at the temperatures specified in the kit insert.
