Mouse Golgi Protein 73 (GP73) ELISA Kit

GP73 (Golgi Protein 73), also known as GOLM1, is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein localized to the cis-Golgi cisternae. In healthy liver, basal expression is low, but transcript and protein levels rise sharply during hepatocellular stress, and serum GP73 has been investigated as a biomarker of hepatocellular carcinoma and chronic liver disease, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.

This mouse-specific assay from Assay Genie is calibrated against recombinant mouse GP73 and shows no significant cross-reactivity with rat or human GOLM1 under standard conditions, supporting its use in murine models of acute and chronic liver injury, fibrosis, and chemical-induced hepatocarcinogenesis. The kit is supplied as a microplate with pre-coated capture antibody, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, chromogenic substrate, and assay diluent. Store all unopened components refrigerated upon receipt; aliquot and freeze the reconstituted standard at -20 °C if not used within one week and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody binding activity.

For each well, dispense 50 uL of standard or sample, incubate, wash, and read the developed plate on a standard microplate reader. The microplate format provides sufficient reagents for 96 individual determinations. Intended for research use only.
