This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables measurement of Glia Maturation Factor Beta in murine specimens, supporting neuroscience and glial biology research programs. GMFB is an actin-regulatory neurotrophic protein expressed predominantly in astrocytes, Schwann cells, and certain neuronal populations, where it influences cofilin phosphorylation, dendritic spine architecture, and inflammatory signaling pathways implicated in neurodegeneration, traumatic brain injury, and demyelinating disease.
