Mouse Glycoprotein endo-alpha-1,2-mannosidase (Manea) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Glycoprotein endo-alpha-1,2-mannosidase (MANEA), also known as Endo-alpha mannosidase, in mouse samples. The assay is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 1.56-100U/L and a sensitivity of 0.783U/L. Intra-assay coefficient of variation is 7.0% and inter-assay coefficient of variation is 8.8%. Linearity has been validated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (104-116%, 93-105%, 96-106%, 109-119%), EDTA plasma (99-108%, 97-107%, 106-117%, 102-112%) and heparin plasma (105-115%, 105-117%, 89-99%, 103-111%). Recovery is 88% (range 82-94%) for serum and 90% (range 84-96%) for plasma. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse MANEA.

MANEA is a single-pass type II membrane protein located in the Golgi apparatus, classified as a glycosyl hydrolase of family 99 (EC 3.2.1.130) with a reported molecular weight of 53,183 Da. The enzyme participates in glycoprotein processing, and its dysregulation has been implicated in metabolic disorders and inflammatory conditions. For research use only.
