Mouse Glycine N-methyltransferase (Gnmt) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA-based kit designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Glycine N-methyltransferase (Gnmt). The assay is configured for use with mouse samples and employs a colorimetric detection method, with reactivity confirmed for mouse specimens.

Analytical performance includes a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.18ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 6.3% and inter-assay CV at 8.2%. Glycine N-methyltransferase catalyses the methylation of glycine using S-adenosylmethionine (AdoMet) to form N-methylglycine (sarcosine) with the concomitant production of S-adenosylhomocysteine (AdoHcy), with a possible crucial role in the regulation of tissue concentration of AdoMet and the metabolism of methionine. The kit is intended for research use only within the cell biology research area.
