Mouse Glutathione peroxidase 2 (Gpx2) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Glutathione peroxidase 2 (Gpx2), also referred to as GPx-GI or GPx-2, in mouse samples. The assay recognises both natural and recombinant mouse Gpx2 and is intended for research use only.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit offers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.073ng/mL, with reported intra-assay CV of 4.8% and inter-assay CV of 7.1%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, and recovery has been documented at an average of 89% (range 83-95%) for serum and 91% (range 85-97%) for plasma.

GPX2 is a cytoplasmic, homotetrameric selenoenzyme that protects cells from oxidative damage by reducing hydrogen peroxide and lipid hydroperoxides, with research relevance to inflammation, immune responses and cancer development. Kit components are provided with storage conditions at -20°C or 4°C.
