Mouse Glutaredoxin-1/Glrx1 ELISA Kit

The assay is a sandwich ELISA using a double antibody format with colorimetric detection. Reported linearity for serum at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 87-101%, 89-99%, and 86-104% respectively (n=5). EDTA plasma shows 84-101%, 85-101%, and 83-93% at the same dilutions (n=5), and heparin plasma shows 81-98%, 81-96%, and 80-97% (n=5). Recovery averages 98% for serum (range 93-103%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 86-101%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 85-100%). The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and a TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and controls onto the pre-coated plate, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a final absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
