Mouse Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, N-Methyl-D-Aspartate 1 (GRIN1) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of the GluN1 (GRIN1) subunit of the NMDA receptor in mouse research samples. GluN1 is the obligatory subunit of functional N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors, which are glutamate-gated ion channels central to excitatory synaptic transmission, plasticity, and excitotoxicity research.

Typical applications include investigation of synaptic plasticity mechanisms, learning and memory studies, and characterization of neurological disease models. The assay is validated for tissue homogenates and cell lysates prepared from mouse specimens in vitro.
