Mouse Glutamate dehydrogenase 1, mitochondrial (Glud1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Sandwich ELISA Kit is intended for the quantification of mouse Glutamate dehydrogenase 1, mitochondrial (Glud1) in research samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and shows reactivity with mouse specimens, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

It offers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.081ng/mL for accurate and reproducible measurement of natural and recombinant mouse Glud1. The target protein (UniProt: P26443; NCBI Gene ID: 14661) is a mitochondrial enzyme located in the mitochondrion matrix that converts L-glutamate into alpha-ketoglutarate, producing an important intermediate of the tricarboxylic acid cycle. It may also be involved in learning and memory reactions by increasing the turnover of the excitatory neurotransmitter glutamate.
