Mouse Glutamate decarboxylase autoantibody (GADAb) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of mouse glutamate decarboxylase autoantibody (GADAb). The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and is intended for research into autoimmune diseases and neurological disorders, where GADAb has been implicated in conditions such as type 1 diabetes and autoimmune polyendocrine syndrome type 2.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 1.56-100U/mL, a sensitivity of 0.782U/mL, an intra-assay CV of 8.7% and an inter-assay CV of 10.6%. Recovery in serum averages 111% (range 105-117%) and in plasma averages 113% (range 107-119%). Specificity has been established for natural and recombinant mouse Glutamate decarboxylase autoantibody.
