Mouse Glucosylceramidase (Gba) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of Glucosylceramidase (GBA) in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse lysosomal acid glucosylceramidase and is supplied for research use only.

According to the manufacturer specifications, the kit has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.168ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.6%.

Glucosylceramidase is a lysosomal enzyme that hydrolyses glucosylceramide into ceramide and glucose, and defects in the GBA gene are linked to Gaucher disease, the most prevalent lysosomal storage disorder.
