Mouse GLTP (Glycolipid Transfer Protein) ELISA Kit (MOES01628)

The Assay Genie Mouse GLTP ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of glycolipid transfer protein, a soluble cytosolic protein that mediates selective intermembrane transfer of glycosphingolipids between cellular membranes. GLTP participates in lipid sorting, glycosphingolipid homeostasis, and membrane biogenesis, and altered GLTP expression has been linked to metabolic and neurological research models.

This sandwich-format microplate kit is supplied as a complete 96-well strip plate with biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, lyophilized standards, and wash and dilution buffers. The protocol uses 100 uL of sample per well and follows a standard sandwich ELISA workflow. Capture and detection antibodies were raised against mouse GLTP epitopes, with no significant cross-reactivity to rat or human homologs under the recommended conditions. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and kept frozen, and remaining kit components should be refrigerated to preserve activity through multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
