Mouse Glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (Gdnf) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse Glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (Gdnf). The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse Gdnf, a homodimeric, disulfide-linked neurotrophic factor (also known as Astrocyte-derived trophic factor, ATF, or mGDNF) that enhances the survival and morphological differentiation of dopaminergic neurons and increases their high-affinity dopamine uptake, with implications for research into Parkinson's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Manufacturer-reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 31.25 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Serum recovery averaged 104% (range 98-110%) and plasma recovery averaged 106% (range 100-112%), with linearity across serum dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 spanning 92% to 116%.
