Mouse Glia-activating factor (Fgf9) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides this colorimetric sandwich ELISA for the quantitative detection of mouse Glia-activating factor (FGF9), also known as HBGF-9, GAF, FGF-9 or Fgf-9. The kit is intended for research use only and is reactive with mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Fibroblast growth factor 9 and uses a solid-phase format. FGF9 is a secreted cytokine (UniProt P54130) implicated in embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell differentiation and cell migration, with roles in glial cell growth and differentiation, gliosis during brain-tissue repair and regeneration, and the differentiation and survival of neuronal cells.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 15.62 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Linearity has been characterised for serum across dilutions 1:2–1:16 (93–106%, 96–104%, 96–106%, 104–112%), EDTA plasma (103–113%, 95–105%, 97–107%, 107–115%) and heparin plasma (85–95%, 107–119%, 104–113%, 94–104%). Recovery averages 90% (range 84–96%) in serum and 92% (range 86–98%) in plasma. Storage is at −20 °C and shipping is at +4 °C.
