Mouse Gelsolin (Gsn) ELISA Kit

Mouse Gelsolin is a calcium-regulated, actin-modulating protein that binds to the plus (or barbed) ends of actin monomers or filaments, preventing monomer exchange (end-blocking or capping). It can promote the assembly of monomers into filaments (nucleation) as well as sever filaments already formed, and plays a role in ciliogenesis. The protein is encoded by the Gsn gene (UniProt P13020) with a molecular weight of 80,763 Da; isoform 1 is secreted and the research area is Metabolism. Kit components are stored at -20°C or 4°C.
